Account Manager (UK Students) – Robert Walters

Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, this new role will be accountable for sales growth and achieving student recruitment targets in MENESA on behalf of the client. Working closely with colleagues in the Europe and across the Global Recruitment Team, this position will lead and develop a recruitment team responsible for all aspects of the clients European recruitment activities in MENESA.

– Directors of Marketing and Admissions, Student Recruitment Coordinators within Europe Business Units
– Admissions Manager (UK) – Admissions and Recruitment Centre, Europe
– Marketing Managers, within mainland MENESA
Business Development Managers, within mainland MENESA
– University Partners including their in-country representatives and stakeholders
– Agents
– External government agencies (e.g. embassies, British Council, recruitment agents, etc.)
Key result areas:
Lead and coordinate the clients European sales, promotional and market development activities across MENESA to enhance their brands and deliver long-term growth in student recruitment.
Lead a recruitment team to deliver sales growth and achieve recruitment targets for individual colleges and for the Europe overall.
Deliver high calibre Europe specific sales tools and training to the agent and partner institution network.
b) Stakeholder Management
Deliver market insight and accurate sales forecasts through regular and detailed reports to the Division, to each College and to Group Marketing.
Consistently engage with Business Units to develop specific sales and marketing strategies designed to increase sales and grow overall Europe market share in MENESA whilst minimizing compliance risks.
Support each Business Unit in pipeline management and partner engagement.
c) Recruitment
Develop and operationalise Strategic Marketing Plans in collaboration with the Regional Sales Director – MENESA and the MENESA Country team. Manage and drive implementation across new and existing regions.
Develop sales strategies for new, niche or specific products.
d) Financial
Manage the marketing budget in collaboration with the Regional Sales Director – MENESA and the General Manager Marketing and Recruitment, Europe to deliver a balanced and transparent budget.
Monitor and evaluate overall divisional ROI and for each College.
e) Business Development
Through market research activities, collaborate with the Business Development Team to identify demand for the clients products & services in new and existing markets within MENESA.
Drive the development of products and services to most effectively target the market.
f) Management and Leadership
Lead, drive and develop a team of recruitment staff to enhance and maintain a positive and proactive team-based culture.
Review and assess employee performance and provide appropriate training and support.
