Air Freight Operations / Imports – Freight Forwarder – Cargo Services

Key Responsibilities:
The main responsibility of the role is to promote Cargo services by air cargo for Dept. of sales and marketing for all commodities Inbound, logistics solutions, including jets chartering for cargo services, and other shipping services to Local Market clients, Thereby achieve or exceed the set sales targets. Job Holder will ensure that all sales activities are in line with the agreed terms and in conformity of the compliance.
1. One of the responsibilities of the position is support to Air Cargo operations such as make follow up for all operation service, Documentations, Support sales activities, and Pricing from all Airlines and agents around the World. The incumbent will also be responsible to ensure that all jobs are done in accordance other relevant policies & procedures.
2. Excellence in customer service: Identify, understand and meet customer needs by demonstrating high level of commitment and applying maximum efforts to achieve results to the highest quality standards thus maintaining and exceeding customer satisfaction. Applying promptly corrective actions to the service failures and ensuring that they do not reoccur in the future.
3. Effective Team Player: As part of job profile, the candidate will be required to extensively communicate with personnel inside & outside. He will have to display high degree of team coordination and ensure that operations are completed as per client’s requirement
4. Ensure prompt updates to clients/ colleagues/ partners are provided through appropriate communication channels.
5. Familiar with freight forwarding operations (Imports section) – agent, IATA, carrier, customs, documentation, Jets chartering for cargo services, and other requirements for DGR (Dangerous Goods Regulations) & Non DGR (Non Dangerous Goods Regulations)
6. Business Development & Source for new clients; maintain excellent business relationships with current clients; develop strategic moves in expanding the current business profiles using traditional and creative methods; develop new prospects in order to drive business growth to meet and exceed budgeted targets.
7. Liaison for Business development: Communicate and negotiate with sales Dept. & clients using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships & Generate revenue through maximizing sales, to exceed set sales budget. Job Holder will also liaise with customer service for completion & Supports of related jobs.
8. Ethics policy: Company will ensure that all Operation & sales activities are within the guidelines of the company's policy.
9. Market Awareness & monitor the competitors activity with sales Dept., implies analyzing trends in business environment, help to develop services that are responsive to the market demands and identify new market opportunities.
