Assistant Payroll Manager – Andalus Trading Company

Maintain the confidentiality of Human Resources and Payroll records and information including employee personal information when performing the following duties:
– Coordinate, maintain, and generate Human Resources-related files, and records (personnel files, search files);
– Process HR documents such as new hire documents; check Human Resources authorization documents; ensure timely completion of all documents;
– Accurately track and process HR documents; follow up as needed;
– Input HR information accurately into the SAP B1/ MenaItech system;
– End to end processing of monthly payroll(s);
– Updating and maintaining payroll records;
– Liaising with staff and management on payroll related queries;
– Maintaining leave, sickness and overtime reports;
– Calculation and payment of termination payments;
– Processing increases and calculation of back pays;
– Assisting Finance with month end consolidation;
– Assisting Finance with reconciliation and payment of payroll;
– Reconciling payroll related GL accounts;
– Calculating annual leave and LSL provisions/accruals;
– Answer phone and respond to inquiries; direct calls to appropriate individuals; take and relay messages; maintain communication between Company employees and HR Department;
– Coordinate drafting and distribution of office communications including office memos, letters, and other notices;
– Maintain general office management functions including mail, scheduling meetings, complete work orders, perform routine clerical/secretarial/receptionist functions such as typing, filing, photocopying, scanning, greeting visitors, etc;
– Distribute status forms for employee information such as changes to title, status, pay, department, etc. in a timely manner;
– Backup for payroll submission as needed;
– Perform other duties or special projects as required or assigned.
