Contracts Manager – The Arab Architects

• Oversee the development of Design and Construction contracts, Work Orders and variation Orders based on standard templates and specific project requirements.
• Assist the Client/ Project Team and Main Office in negotiations with consultants and contractors.
• Oversee the preparation of Award Recommendation Reports and other submittals sent to Main Office for approval.
• High workload in PVRs and VOs – Client/ Project Team process involves justifications and accountability.
• Provide guidance, advice and oversee the work performed by the Contracts Administrators.
• Reports and recommendations to Client/ Project Team – e.g. options reports, presentation slides.
• Provides support to the contracts management team to procure design and construction services on time and within budget in accordance with Client procurement procedures.
• Oversee, monitor and report contracts administration performance of Consultants and Construction Supervisors.
• Provides contractual input in reviewing, defending, negotiation, and responding to the design and constructions claims.
• Oversee the project close out contractual aspects.
• Not only recording the problems, but offering solutions
• Responsible for a high level of contractor correspondence
