Document Technician – Arkad
1.Scope of Responsibilities
Provides EMS document support services for companywide activities for all departments. The Document Technician is capable of completing special assignments independently such as document formatting, editing and meta data processing, has strong communication and organization skills, and is computer literate in Company standard office software. Must be able to obtain and disseminate technical information appropriate to the assignment.
•May have responsibility for one or more document discipline areas in the company, must have knowledge of document control functions, knowledge of CAD (Computer Aided Design) is desirable.
•Prepares documents, edits, either manually or electronically, to ensure compliance to Arkad style guide and other company standards.
•Assist in updating manuals, plans, templates, checklist etc. following general instructions from the EMS Supervisor. Ensures prompt distribution of all work and maintains file of changes and most current complete manuals.
•Establishes and maintains MDR files.
•May provide some general clerical duties such as light typing, filing, answering phones, etc.
•Completes special assignments as required.
•Assists in training lower level Document Technicians.
•Performs additional duties as assigned.
