Employment Consultant – Maximus Gulf

RESPONSIBILITIES
ATTRACTION AND ATTACHMENT.
Attraction and Attachments normally includes maintaining up-to-date knowledge and strong relationships with partners JPC and the CMAC team for Mandatory programmes. For Voluntary programmes, it may include conducting outreach activity such as building relationships with community partners, touring streets, shopping centres, job fairs and employer event.
ENAGEGMENT AND DIAGNOSIS.
Employment Consultants plans appointments with Job Seekers to ensure effective use of time, rapport building and an adequate two-way exchange with the Job Seekers. Complete a variety of forms and processes such as Job seeker attachment forms and skills assessment to identify Job Seekers goals, aspirations, and first level barriers either directly or through internal and external contacts.
Job Seekers Progression Overcoming Barriers to employment
Support with finding sustainable employment also includes identifying barriers, job search skills, training, empowerment and confidence building. Employment Consultants identifies the actions required to prepare a job seeker for employment and addresses those barriers.
EMPLOYER VACANCY DEVELOPMENT.
Employment Consultants sells the benefits of the programme, or a specific Job Seekers to Employers or internal contacts (Business Development Officer/Business Development Manager) to achieve a placement. They will research the individual Employer’s assessment process preparing the Job Seekers accordingly, negotiate the process to ensure both the Job Seekers and the Employer as a smooth transition into employment.
IN WORK SUPPORT.
Employment Consultants conduct risk assessments on their Job Seekers to identify the appropriate levels of support required using red, amber or green coding. Employment Consultants mentor Job Seekers through employment maintaining regular contact with the Job Seekers, the Employer, and in some cases the Business Development Officer/Business Development Manager..
ADMINISTRATION & QUALITY.
Employment Consultants ensure accurate and timely recording and review (for completion and completeness) of all Job Seekers details and requirements through every intervention is necessary. Adherence to all administrative requirements of programme delivery is mandator
