Executive Chef (Culinary – Kitchen) – Western Native

I'm looking for an Executive Chef who must be a Western Native and Educated (Europe, Common Wealth Countries, USA…etc.). The Executive Chef will be responsible for all of the daily operations of the Central kitchen (Fast Food Restaurants Concept) in the State of Kuwait.
Roles & Responsibilities
– Plan, schedule and coordinates the work of chefs, cooks and other kitchen employees to assure that food preparation is economical and technically correct and within budgeted labor cost goals.
– Approve the requisition of products and other necessary food supplies.
– Ensure that high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and safety are maintained throughout all kitchens’ areas at all times.
– Establish controls to minimize food and supply waste and theft.
– Safeguard all food preparation employees by implementing training to increase their knowledge about safety, sanitation and accident prevention principles.
– Develop standard recipes and techniques for food preparation and presentations/ tests.
– Prepare necessary data for applicable parts of the budget; project annual food, labor and other costs and monitors actual financial results; takes corrective action as necessary to help assure that financial goals are met.
– Attend F&B staff and management meetings.
– Consult with the F&B/ Operations about food production aspects of special events being planned.
– Cook or directly supervise the cooking of items that require skillful preparation.
– Ensure proper staffing for maximum productivity and high standards of quality; controls food and payroll costs to achieve maximum profitability.
– Evaluate food products to assure that quality standards are consistently attained.
– Provide guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.
– Interact with F&B management to assure that food production consistently exceeds the expectations of customers.
– In conjunction with F&B management team, assist in maintaining a high level of service principles in accordance with established standards.
– Develop policies and procedures to enhance and measure quality; continually update written policies and procedures to reflect State-of-the-Art techniques, equipment’s and terminologies.
– Establish and maintain a regular cleaning and maintenance schedule for all kitchen areas and equipment’s.
– Provide training and professional development opportunities for all kitchen staff.
– Ensure that representatives from the kitchens attend service lineups and meetings.
– Should be able to provide direction for all day-to-day operations in the kitchen.
– Periodically visits dining areas/ premises when it is open to welcome members.
– Support safe work habits and a safe working environment at all times.
– Actively involves in menu development and maintaining updated and accurate costing of all dishes prepared and sold in the Food and Beverage operation.
– Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards.
– Coordinate with the purchase department for acquisition of needed goods and services.
– Interview, select & hire all new employees in the department.
– Train, develop and motivate supervisors and culinary staff to meet and exceed established food preparation standards on a consistent basis.
– Provide, develop, train, and maintain a professional work force.
– Ensure all services to clients are conducted/ provided in a highly professional and efficient manner.
– Ensure a safe working environment and attitude on the part of all employees in areas of responsibility.
– Interact with customers to obtain feedback on food quality, presentation and service levels.
– Actively responds to and handles guest problems and complaints.
– Ensure confidentiality is maintained across department/ culinary concerns’ e.g. recipes…etc.
– Discuss daily food cost reports with key kitchen and F&B team members.
– Review weekly and monthly schedules to meet forecast and budget.
– Perform other duties as directed.
