Finance & HR Manager – Métier HR Consulting

Key responsibilities:
• Provide superior service to clients by addressing
client questions and concerns regarding contracts/billing in a timely, professional, knowledgeable and tactful manner.
• Analyze financial data and extract and define
relevant information; interpret data for the purpose of determining financial
performance and profitability.
• Analyze budget patterns and project expenditures.
• Review, reconcile, and evaluate monthly ledgers,
budgets and financial reports; assist with fiscal planning, development, and
management of annual budgets.
• Oversee monthly preparation and processing of client billing
• Work with outside insurance brokers to maintain
adequate affordable Professional Liability, General and Auto Liability, Workers Compensation, and Employment Practice Liability insurance coverage
• Maintain efficient Cash Management, minimize Line of Credit borrowings, and oversee follow-up of A/R and proper accounting of payments from clients.
• Monitor and approve office expenditures
• Prepare and process payroll, including quarterly and annual tax filings.
• Assist partners with hiring new staff, performance evaluations, training, promotions
and conflict resolution
• Work closely with outside vendors to maintain
affordable and competitive benefit programs (Medical, Dental, Life, Disability.)
• Support entire team with all HR needs such as
enrollment, vacation time tracking, 401k contributions and changes, clarification of coverage’s, etc.
• Maintain high level of awareness of firm goals,
standards, policies and procedures. Maintain sensitivity to interrelationships of staff and functions within the firm.
• Keep abreast of laws and regulations and keep firm compliant.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as required
• Amidst the details, think strategically, monitor the big picture.
• Keep learning, make creative changes to workflow when and where appropriate.
