Health & Safety Officer

To support the QHSE function in the development and implementation of the company’s business improvement plans; to provide support to the business units in the implementation of the QHSE initiatives and actively promote a health and safety culture across the organization.
Accountabilities
– Supports the operation and project teams in the implementation of QHSE, and transformation initiatives
– Supports and guides the operation in the documentation and implementation of processes, policies and
procedures
– Participates in QHSE audits; records and reports deviations; recommends and suggests corrective and preventive actions to ensure compliance
– Compiles, analyses, interprets, and reports accidents. Review property and injury reports.
– Conducts HSE inspections
– Conducts risk assessments
– Assists in new employee orientation training related to Health and Safety programs
– Conducts trainings related to Health and Safety programs
– Actively promotes quality, health and safety across the organization as “QHSE ambassador”; runs communication programs and awareness sessions
– Maintains a professional partnering relationship that promotes integrity, personal ownership, teamwork and excellence with all business units and employees across all parts of the Dubai operation
– Any other related duties / projects assigned by the QHSE Manager
