HR Manager (Retail) (Generalist) – Randstad MENA

The Position
As a Human Resources Generalist, your position will be varied and demanding within the Supermarket sector of their business you will be working closely with department heads and line managers of the supermarket chain.
Your duties will include but not be limited to assisting the department heads in :
Set-up & manage the HR department by developing and implementing, company-wide HR Policies, strategies and procedures.
* Manage all recruiting needs, including developing and updating job descriptions/requirements, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates.
* Develop an employee handbook and implement and conduct training programs for all new and current employees.
* Develop, implement and monitor protocols for employee performance management and prepare monthly reports for employee performance.
* Monitor the well-being of all employees and provide counselling.
* Administering payroll activities and maintain employee records.
* Staying up-to-date, interpreting and advising on UAE Labor law and work in close coordination with company PRO.
* At all times, encourage a positive working environment.
