Inside Sales Lighting Engineer – Speclight Associates
As a member of Speclight’s Inside Sales team the successful candidate will be assigned either a geographical territory and/or specific customer accounts and accordingly will focus on the following:
– Proactively creating new relationships with lighting distributors
– Developing strong relationships with Speclight’s existing network of lighting distributors
– Following up with all project stakeholders (lighting distributors, consultants, contractors et al) as necessary to secure orders by providing any and all necessary techno-commercial service, support and followup.
– Training lighting distributors and specifying consultants in the use of Speclight's vast portfolio of manufacturers, products and services
– Developing lighting fixture proposals, lighting calculation studies using Dialux, lighting layouts (RCPs) via Autocad and other product and or lighting application service/support requested by Speclight's network of lighting distributor and lighting specifier (consultants) clientele.
The ideal candidate will be an individual who thrives in the role of 'hub' or 'focal point' of service and support between the manufacturers Speclight represents and the market of lighting distributors and lighting specification consultants. We desire proactive candidates who can absorb a multitude of information at a fast pace and are willing to take the initiative/'think outside the box' in order to maximise opportunities of winning orders.
We may also consider those fresh graduates who wish to consider a paid (basic stipend) internship for a period 6-9 months as a prelude to full-time employment.
