Product Manager, Credit Cards – First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB)

Core Responsibilities
Product management
Supports Head of Cards Products in developing and managing strategies aimed at generating revenue through assigned line of products in alignment with Personal Banking objectives.
Provides guidance and support to client-facing professionals and sales teams to solve complex client needs through the line of products.
Leads the effort to develop and execute marketing campaigns to drive product growth ensuring collaboration with the internal marketing team to ensure alignment with FGB brand.
Serves as a subject matter expert on enterprise level initiatives not specifically related to the assigned line of products.
Identifies and evaluates potential business partners for general marketing and distribution arrangements
Drives annual provider due diligence process with the help of information available in public domain
Establishes profitable and sustainable product mix.
Negotiates with product providers for enhanced fee/revenue terms, promotions, etc.
Ensures adequate product infrastructure, sales training, sales support at all times.
Leads harmonisation of products or services, and ensures maintaining the level of knowledge about products and services offered by the competition in the UAE and region.
Product Development
Develops product and client propositions and get agreement from various stakeholders in an efficient manner in alignment with client needs.
Leads the new product approval process for new products and enhancements by syndicating and getting approvals from relevant stakeholders.
Partners with Compliance and Legal teams to ensure that products meet all regulatory requirements ensuring efficiency.
Collaborates with Marketing and Sales to develop both client-facing and sales force-facing educational and promotional product literature to support sale activities.
Develops and presents product training for internal business partners and the sales force to ensure efficient product-roll out.
Serves as product expert and respond to requests and questions from internal business partners and the sales force.
Develops policies and procedures related to the assigned products in order to ensure adherence to guidelines and mitigate risk.
Enhances current products and services based on new industry trends or opportunities as well as identifying gaps in current products based on the feedback provided by Sales teams or the in order to ensure client satisfaction.
Supports sales teams during presentations, amending current assigned products in order to incorporate specific client requirements.
Ensures that the product life cycle methodology is employed in delivering products in order to ensure adherence to guidelines and the development of products.
Product evaluation (existing and/or new products/services)
Analyses existing as well as new range of assigned products and propositions rate them individually and publish quarterly updates to distribution teams.
Conducts regular market scan on best practises, propositions, etc. and share feedback with Head of Products, Business Management team and other stakeholders.
