Project Construction Manager (Hurghada)


Manage the effective achievement of project objectivesthrough the leadership of the project – setting individual objectives, managing
performance, developing and motivating staff, providing appraisals and other
formal and informal feedback.
Receive assignment of the project from the Master Planningand Design Division, discuss and agree parameters and technical details; and
establish timeliness and schedules in order to draw up appropriate procedures
to implement the project.
Establish specifications, standards and procedures for executing the desired project particularly with respect to planning, scheduling
and cost controlling and secure agreement from higher levels of supervision to
proceed with implementation.
Define project staffing specifications and liaise with
technical office, in order to source the optimal workforce of professionals needed for the project implementation.
Define milestones, major activities, relationships between activities, and maintain budget estimates to achieve target dates as agreed with consultants.
Execute all Project Management processes to ensure project is managed within project parameters of cost, time, quality, functionality,
safety and environmental standards.
Continuously review the scope for improvement in project management processes and project performance, based on lessons learned and
recommending changes where necessary.
Update tracking of project budgets, determine cash flow of construction works and monitor financial performance of projects to ensure best
quality of work is provided within cost constraints.
Coordinate and liaise with contractors and project
Consultants through project meetings for execution of projects. In order to agree
specifications, standards, equipment selection, installation, testing, commissioning and acceptance of completed works.
Perform site inspections on regular basis to follow-up on work progress ensuring that work progress is carried out as per approved work
schedule, while guaranteeing that the timeliness of the project meet the target dates (attend progress meetings) and that appropriate resources are allocated as per the contractual agreement.
Conduct performance evaluation of the technical engineering staffed assigned on various engagements to ensure a consistent appraisal record is maintained during the course of the year for linking to reward, recognition and training/ development needs.
Ensure that all relevant safety, quality and environmental procedures, instructions and controls are adhered to so that the safety of
employees, quality of products/services and environmental compliance can be guaranteed during the project implementation.
