QA/QC Manager – ASTAD Project Management

 Contribute to the development of the overall Operations Support and QA/QC strategy by providing the QA/QC related input and plans in line with the overall organizational objectives.  Develop, enhance and continuously improve the policy and procedures related to the QA/QC across ASTAD Consult projects and implement procedures and controls covering all areas of activity to ensure adherence and effective implementation.  Manage the effective achievement of objectives through setting individual objectives of the team, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal in order to maximize subordinate and the overall performance.  Manage operations management systems of ASTAD Consult on an ongoing basis.  Conduct trainings and awareness sessions for ATSAD Consult operations staff and other concerned parties on an ongoing basis to drive a quality adherence and quality improvement culture.  Perform 1st party audits on ASTAD Consult at operation department and projects levels.  Perform 2nd Party Audit on the project parties (Consultants, Contractors, suppliers, etc.) and ASTAD Consult’s Major Service Providers.  Lead the identification, handling and close•out of quality risks in accordance with the risk management system.  Endorse QA/QC Team reviews of Review and approval of Contractor and Consultant QA/QC Plans, Inspection and Test Plans, and other Project QA/QC Documents Ensure that quality of contractor’s products, services and facilities, are inspected and monitored.  Ensure that all necessary quality records are identified and retained in accordance with ASTAD Consult’s requirements.  Liaise and cooperate with other Sections and External Bodies (i.e., Certification Bodies, QA section, Government Departments, HSE, Contractors, Consultants, etc.).  Manage for setting up project•specific QA/QC operation Management System, and implementing timely and appropriate corrective, preventive and defect repair actions in case of deviations by coordinating with consultant and contractors as required.  Management of PVL Processes entirely.  Perform quality control process actions by using appropriate tools such as cause and effect diagrams, control chart and flow chart histograms.  Coordinate closely with relevant stakeholders to maintain awareness of Quality policy and action Quality management plans accordingly.
