Recruitment Manager Restaurants – Gastronomica

Gastronomica is passionate about great eating and great dining experiences, and so we are looking for a passionate Recruitment Manager to join our team based in Kuwait. Our successful original dining concepts include, Slider Station, Cocoa Room, Open Flame Kitchen, Roadside Diner, BRW and Burger Boutique are all created in house from the ground up. Our mission is to build our brand name by carving out a niche which focuses on high-quality products that are based on a Unique Total Dining Experience principles.
As the Recruitment Manager at Gastronomica, you will be responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization to support its growth plans across the Region.
This will be achieved through the development of national and international recruitment plans, employing efficient sourcing strategies and developing new, creative recruiting ideas.
Additionally you will be also be responsible for;
– Spearheading the development and implementation of policies, procedures and techniques pertaining to recruitment and selection
– Developing and managing manpower plans and
budgets
– Plan, design, implement, manage and analyze
appropriate integrated recruitment campaigns
– Developing and determining sources for local and
international hires
– Assisting in establishing relationships with
recruitment agencies, universities and professional societies in order to have
an adequate flow of candidates.
– Liaising with manpower consultants for business
contracts of HR manpower projects
– Using social media and professional networking
sites to identify and source candidates.

Developing a pool of qualified candidates in
advance of need
– Developing job descriptions to ensure the job
description library is up to date
– Ensuring effect and creative competency based
selection methods are used to ensure quality of new hires meets business requirements
– Organizing and managing the country recruitment
process – draft advertisement for job openings,
source suitable candidates, screening applications, interviewing candidates, scheduling interview with line management, collecting interview feedback, compiling feedbacks, sending interview feedback o candidates, conduct reference and criminal checks, and ensure that all candidate records are updated in the recruitment database
– Handling the probation assessment and employment
confirmation/offer letters issuance process
– Compiling and processing all recruitment
periodic reports in accordance with recruitment guidelines and ensuring timely submission of the same
– Collecting and analyzing statistical information
on employee turnover data for each function
– Preparing monthly summary data and status
reports on processed job applications, job vacancies vs job filled
– Assists with the production/submission of
relevant management information and reports including advertising and recruitment agencies expenditure, cost per hire, time to fill vacancies,
attrition rates and other required system reports
– Coordinating implementing various Kuwaitization
programs to increase percentage of Kuwaitis
– Liaising with operational teams regarding recruitment and manpower needs
