Restaurant Manager – NStyle International

Key Responsibilities:
Managing Day-to-Day Operations
Note: This position is open until September. The candidates should be available to join on October/NOVEMBER for the Opening of our new branch Sapori Di BiCE in Sharjah.
 Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
 Supervises the day-to-day functioning of all employees, facilities, sales and costs.
 Controls and analyzes, on an ongoing basis, the following:
• Customer satisfaction
• Sales and marketing performance
• Operating costs
• Sanitation, cleanliness, hygiene
 Supervises, coordinates and directs the prompt, efficient and courteous service of Food and Beverages in the restaurant.
 Establishes and maintains effective employee relations.
 Conducts, under the guidance of the HR Manager such functions as interviewing, hiring, employee orientation, on the job performance coaching, counseling and progressive discipline if necessary to ensure appropriate staffing and productivity.
 Attends and contributes to the weekly/monthly Food and Beverage departmental meetings.
 Conducts pre-shift briefings with employees and maintains liaison with the Chefs and Back of House team members.
 Oversees and assists in service in accordance with the requirements and practices of the restaurants.
 Ensures that restaurant grooming and presentation standards are met.
 Controls OS&E for daily use in the restaurant to ensure that service requirements are met.
 Responsible for taking the lead in growing sales and covers in the restaurant.
 Participates in the preparation and the follow up of the food and beverage department budget and goals.
 Plans leave per operational requirements and ensure sufficient staffing needs
 Ensure HR Live scheduling and attendance is monitored
 Conducts all administration work required, including but not limited to:
• Attendance records
• Debriefing/information distribution
• P&L research/troubleshooting
 Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
 Maintains awareness to customer focus and attention to detail.
 Handles guest complaints.
 Responsible for monitoring the restaurant’s controllable costs. Conducts
a weekly inventory of china/glass/silver. Conducts inventory of uniforms and is
responsible for purchasing of said uniforms
