Safety Disciplines Lead

Job Purpose
– The main purpose of the Safety Disciplines Lead job is to ensure compliance with set safety policies and procedures & to lead the specific disciplines related to H&S
Principal Accountabilities
– Ensures that the scope of the related discipline specialist is clearly understood
– Oversees and reviews all the plans related to the various disciplines
– Ensures HSE orientation to new employees on projects
– Ensures all emergency plans are prepared and practiced
– Ensures all incidents and properly investigated and reported through the proper channels
– Ensures H&S policies and procedures are updated and maintained within the company management system as required
– Ensures Traffic Management Plans are prepared and practiced at all projects
– Ensures project Lesson Learnt Reports relating to HSE are prepared and maintained for future reference
– Conducts planned inspections ensuring controls are in place
– Conduct HSE audits and analyze the trends
– Assists the HSE Manager in any related assigned tasks
– Manages the performance of all their team members, irrespective of the structure below them
– Reports to and supports the Project HSE Manager on all safety issues
– Interacts with Operations during inspections, training sessions, and audits
