Sr. Operations Manager/ Director (Fast Food Restaurants)

I'm looking for an Operations Manager, Sr. Operations Manager or Operations Director to handle whole Operations in our +20 Fast Food Restaurants in the State of Kuwait and Abroad. You must be a person with a long term visionary who can lead a management team of +5 Area Managers and the like.
Roles and Responsibilities
– Demonstrate ownership and accountability by consistently observing restaurants operations, providing feedback and taking action in critical situations.
– Work closely with the Dept.’s Managers to ensure correct stock levels are available from central distribution area (warehouse, Suppliers…etc.), to assist the operational Food and Beverage team.
– Ensure strict compliance with all relevant Hygiene and Safety Standards/ requirements in line with State Laws, Regulations and Legislation's.
– Review the product range (raw materials) to ensure that all key quality standards are maintained.
– Maintain close, professional & effective links with all parties concerned (stakeholders, suppliers, contractors, managers…etc.).
– Be accountable before the H&S Authority (Municipality…etc.) and be the first point of contact for any unforeseen Environmental Health inspections…etc.
– Collate and disseminate food safety alerts when appropriate and be responsible for ensuring departmental compliance with the company health and safety policy/ procedures.
– Work with the Quality Control, Finance and/ or Procurement to deliver an effective loss prevention scheme.
– Support a training culture within the Food and Beverage teams.
– Liaise with Marketing team to collate and respond to all customers’ correspondences (social media in particular).
– Maintain F&B Management invoices and journals, manage and monitor expenditures associated with catering equipment repair, manage the asset register and assist in budget’s setting each year for the department.
– Manage the incentive scheme, allocate and verify spending's and assist in report analysis on stock and sales.
– Manage and meet all committed budgets related to staffing in Restaurant(s).
– Assist in the planning and implementation of new ideas and menu specifications each season.
– Set KPI’s and ensure all are met/ achieved in all related areas concerned (Restaurants, supply chain…etc.).
– Supervise Area Managers in Local and Regional Markets and mentor them on continuous basis.
– Be responsible for P&L in all restaurants and maximize sales on continues basis.
– Evaluate people and processes & ensure innovation is on the top priorities to progress and increase revenues.
– Provide constant leadership, counselling, advices and feedback to his subordinates.
– Provide/ Build an environment of openness and trust, with constant feedback and performance coaching.
– Consult and be accountable for working shoulder-to-shoulder with all Area Managers and possibly with each Restaurant Manager to improve the execution of the Restaurants systems (procedures, menus…etc.) and to deliver short- and long-term business results (sales, people and profit).
– Recommend and coordinate the assistance of support staff and peers to optimize business results, when appropriate (e.g. Construction, Cost Control, HR & Training, Marketing, Technology, and others).
– Proactively provides recommendations to Management & Area Managers on how to take advantage of opportunities to improve business results.
– Reinforce the importance of restaurants having the right staff (through quality hiring and retention) to maximize sales potential.
– Ensure the new hired employees are trained sufficiently to handle onsite roles and responsibilities.
– Partner with HR & Training to build capability to deliver on the People Promise in the restaurants to achieve desired business results.
– Choose the appropriate consulting approach (e.g., directive, supportive, coaching, collaborative) based on the level of performance of each restaurant.
