Store Keeper – MILAHA

Job Objective
Receive, verify, store, safeguard and issue goods and other company assets in the store. Ensure efficient and timely transaction of goods to support other functions with planning, procurement and end user operations.
Key roles and responsibilitie
• Receive and verify goods from suppliers/ other locations and ensure that receipts are documented and entered in the system
• Ensure that the goods are received/ delivered on time and corresponds with the purchase order and delivery note in terms of quantity, quality and other specifications
• Ensure all required documents are complete before receiving/ release of goods to and from the store
• Periodically take physical count of stock and ensure that it tallies with perpetual book stock
• Mark goods with age information and other details for efficient FIFO (first-in, first out) distribution, as and when required.
• Communicate new goods codes to Stores personnel
• Ensure goods in staging area are released
• Ensure all goods are handled properly and stored safely and appropriately in an orderly and accessible manner
• Examine and inspects stock items for wear and defects, and report any damage and discrepancies to the supervisor
• Ensure damaged and expired items are kept in the quarantine area and Update opening stock for all locations after inventory
• Record KPI details such as order fulfilment, dispatch accuracy, accidents, etc. Track performance on a daily basis and report any non-conformance to the supervisor.
