Strategic Planning / Corporate Performance Management – Project Manager – Kawader HR Consultancy

Position: Project Manager
Duration: 1 Year
Manage Special & Strategic Projects and liaise with concerned stakeholders both internally and externally to ensure effective planning, execution and monitoring of projects. Support the Program Manager on the development of the client Strategic Plan and Annual Corporate Plan.
– Manage all staff within the team in performing their delegated tasks;
– Optimise the use of available resources in carrying out the assigned tasks and ensure timely completion according to set standards;
§ Human Resources
– Manage project teams (internally/externally) and delegate project activities to team members in a timely and concise manner;
– Manage available resources and reallocate as required;
§ Quality
– Ensure international and local context is embedded in all deliverables along with client strategic objectives;
Review and quality assure all services and work-products delivered by the team to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures and strategic alignment.
§ Capability
– Support the learning & growth of line reports to ensure continuous improvement to their skill set;
§ Technical Knowledge & Expertise
– Provide necessary support to sectors on matter pertaining to strategy, special projects and change management;
§ Budget
– Outline Annual Corporate Plan projects/programs budgets based on client Strategic Plan;
§ Technology
– Actively engage with, use and leverage technology and equipment allocated to role;
§ Policies, Procedures & Processes
– Participate in implementing the policies and procedures applicable to the role;
§ Code of Conduct
Uphold client Code of Conducts in all activities.
§ Manage client Strategic Plan focused projects/programs from start to finish and provide reports on project status, while continuously monitoring for potential risks and providing mitigation strategies, to ensure that the annual goals and objectives are aligned with client medium and long terms plans;
§ Manage special projects that are projects which fall within the remit of broader client programs to support new Government directions, reporting to a Program Manager or directly to Division Manager as required;
§ Engage with sectors internally on a regular basis on projects/programs that relate to the client Strategic Plan or on special projects if required to promote Cross-Sector collaboration within client .
§ Conduct regular project team meetings with internal resources and external consultants to ensure projects are being delivered appropriately and respecting budgets, timelines and the agreed project management methodology;
§ Develop regular status reports as they pertain to special projects and forward to Program Performance & Performance Management Division for consolidation/review;
§ Develop effective communication plans for particular client Strategic Plan focused projects/programs to ensure stakeholder awareness is achieved;
§ Support the development, regular review, and maintenance of the client Strategic Plan to continuously ensure alignment to medium/long term client objectives;
§ Support the Corporate Planning process to ensure that all Strategic Projects are reflected in the Annual Corporate Plan;
§ Provide support to other Sectors on strategic planning efforts to support internal learning & growth within client;
§ Provide informal technical and professional guidance to Senior Analyst/s as required;
§ Support in change management activities for Strategic Projects, as requested, across client
