Overall Objective:

• Develop sales of company products according to targets agreed with Export Director
• Liaison of marketing plans by country between the international marketing team and the local distribution partners
• Support the management of Distributor's Sales and Marketing function to develop and grow the business in the relevant aspects of Distribution, Sales, Key account Management and Trade-Marketing
• Build up market, trade, category and consumer understanding for the relevant product categories
• Define short-and long term-term sales, profit and working capital – objectives and ensure their achievement

Key Tasks:

Sales
• Develop national and regional Distribution, Sales, and Key Account targets (short, mid and long term)
• Manage performance of distributor and prepare regular business review meetings (Monthly/Bi-Monthly/Quarterly, together with Countries teams)
• Implement KPI-Models to stimulate distributor-performance
• Implement regular and standardized analysis & reporting of actual business-performance (customer sales, distributors sales, product-sales, distribution, and merchandising) versus agreed targets
• Define and implement corrective measures in case of deviations versus targets
• Lead and support the distributor in terms of sales, distribution, and attend annual negotiation meetings together with distributor's KAM
• Implement sales force management and reporting tools with distributor's sales manager/director
• Observe and manage price levels and trade margins
• Provide the Supply Chain function with regular sales-forecast information by product
• Setup sales plans by month and follow up execution to ensure full implementation for e-commerce sales channel
• Conduct periodic market visits and guide the team on corrective measures if needed

Key Account Management
• Manage performance, regular business reviews and negotiations with national and selected regional/international key accounts in all aspects (listings, rebate structure, outlet-distribution, sales, merchandising, promotions, logistics)
• Negotiate and prepare sales contracts with selected International Key Clients
• Monitoring and benchmarking of trade rebates and net pricing
• Prepare monthly/quarterly reporting for international Key Accounts and be a link between the international headquarters and local subsidiaries
• Support implementation of Key customer related promotional projects
• Analyze sell-out data of key accounts and setup action plans with the distribution partner accordingly
• Track and analyze retail audits and setup plans to gain market shares

Trade-Marketing:
• Initiate customer-wise promotional/activity plans in cooperation with distributor and Marketing function
• Measure sales performance and give feedback to distributor & marketing
• Initiate and support implementation of category-management or merchandising projects

Marketing
• Establish Yearly (Sales- and) marketing budgets and plans based on approval by GM/Controlling
• Support the creation of brand development activities (ATL)
• Ensure the BTL activities are following the proper brand guidelines
• Support the development of suitable product assortment and price positioning
• Monitoring of local market and competitive activities taking place by country
• Identify/highlight possible growth opportunities within category/similar categories by country
• Insure proper launch/order/listing of innovations as per the aligned annual plans
• Conduct annual trainings for the countries local teams to ensure they are aligned with brand development
