Assistant Head of Purchasing

For a Hospitality company in Doha.
Responsibilities
– Evaluate all purchase acquisitions and purchase orders on regular basis
– Follows up on orders to ensure that materials are shipped and delivered on promised dates.
– Communicate with suppliers
– Maintains purchasing documents, files and records for the purpose of ensuring the availability of documentation and compliance with established policies and regulatory guidelines.
– Maintain purchase order data
– Enter and maintain container shipments
– Notify sales / customer service concerning delays
