Banking Applications and Systems Manager
Administration and Application Support of bank’s 24/7 Card management and Switch PowerCARD, QPAY payment Gateway MiGS and bank ATM Spread all over Qatar.
Monitoring interfaces and applications, trouble shooting of system errors to minimize the downtime, and perform EOD crash recovery procedures by providing immediate critical support on production Banking Applications and 24/7 interfaces.
Assist to Implement Projects according to Banks Strategy.
Seek opportunities to continuously improve the application support process
Assist in vendor selection for new systems
Regular review and follow the project management policies and procedures
Ensure that all the business requirements are handled in accordance to the policies and procedures in an efficient manner.
Contribute to the development of relevant IT processes, policies and procedures from time to time
Project execution/implementation Support and provide Technical solutions/ Feasibility Analysis for cards Related Project from Retail banking department.
Provide support to implement regulatory requirements from VISA, Master Card and QCB
Ensures that production systems provide continuous, efficient and accurate support for Bank’s operation.
Understand the systems related requirements of the other departments using applications as per business as usual and make ease of access and facilitate smooth working set objectives for the Department team members.
To identify opportunities, recommend and implement processes for improving business operational efficiency and quality
Responsible to implement new functionalities and new modules as per business needs in all the banking applications
Provide support in the Cards Application management.
First level Support for Production Issues on Cards/Payment Gateway
Manage IT projects for new implementation and other IT Projects (as required) in coordination with internal and external stakeholders
Manage the implementation of compliance, risk and information security requirements for my area of responsibilities
Regular follow up with the stakeholders on various projects ( support / in progress ) to make sure that we are following the plan / meetings include brainstorming and knowledge transfer and discussion of the difficulties met
Meetings with vendors to make sure that we have the required level of support of production system, and to plan for delivery of new projects
Technical and Functional analysis of new Projects and Implementation Support to Banks’s business, Meeting deadlines by coordinating with all Stake holders
System integration testing and User testing Support for new initiatives and Bug fixes.
Handling Ad hoc Requests from Business Users across various departments
Implement Central Bank, VISA and MasterCard compliance requirements
