Brand Manager – Al Mana

• Prepare annual business plan for the brand in order to determine brand positioning in the market. Negotiate key aspects of the planned delivery with the host brand
• Ensure the brand delivers business plan profit through delivery of both volume and cash margin, maintaining brand profitability by management of full price and mark down sales, intake margins, levels of mark down activity and terminal stock
• Design and implement brand’s buying plans and projections to increase efficiencies and maximization of margins and sell thru
• Support the Store Managers in the delivery of the departmental strategy through the achievement of operational objectives and personal goals
• Daily, weekly and monthly reports, and communication with the Store Managers to review: DSS, DSR, competitor analysis, monthly in and out reports etc.
• Weekly review the four main Key Performance Indicators: Sales, Stocks, Sell thru & Rotation with Brand and Al Mana
• Suggest to management how each location could change in order to maximize profits and reduce loss at the store level
• Ensure that the revenue targets for the stores are achieved or exceeded
• Regularly review store sales numbers, cost of inventory, operational expenses and inventory loss to determine whether or not the store is meeting its goals
• Forecast and produce sales and margin figures and inventory requirements for each location. Conduct periodic inventory analysis for each store review sales figures to determine optimal stock levels in all stores
• Analyze sales reports and trends to maximize sales per square foot
• Maximize turnover by ensuring accurate, timely and commercial sales planning and reforecasting, covering both like-for-like and new stores
• Reforecast on a continuous basis through the plan period. Ensure pricing of new product reflects both local market and host brand positioning to ensure maximum competitiveness
• Assist with coordinating store incentives and collating results
• Optimize space for special events and sale periods
• Plan and implement an events calendar for positive brand building through sales support promotional activities which maintain brand integrity and values
• Review and share with the Brands the competitor analysis on a monthly basis and implement the marketing calendar accordingly
• Follow up opening calendars and support Store Managers to complete each process in the correct timeframes
• Ensure that operations are effectively informed of brand values, priorities and requirements, and communicate brand values to customer base through effective marketing
• Champion the highest level of customer service across the retail business
• Implement store customer service policies
• Answer general store queries, identifying and escalating common themes or issues when necessary
• Ensure an exceptional level of store merchandising standards is executed across all stores
• Review mystery shopping results and work to address gap areas
• Prepare retail operational management information reports, ensuring completion in a timely and accurate manner such as OTB's, sell-thru, sales, and other reports that may be required
• Proactively monitor warehouse and regional/store performance taking remedial action and implementing operational improvements as necessary
• Oversee the development of clear processes to control shrink resulting from customer and staff theft, poor administration, and damage to displayed and stored merchandise
• Responsible for all stock control and ensuring all records are kept up to date and accurate
• Ensure presence of adequate security measures and report any violations in a timely manner
• Ensure that the stores comply with government regulations and organizational policies of the Company
• Manage maintenance issues and work to coordinate maintenance work in compliance with civil defense requirements in a timely manner
• Ensure high standards of confidentiality to safeguard commercially sensitive information
• Ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained and communicate to Human Resources recruitment requirements in line with growth projections and operational requirements
• Manage timesheets and schedules of employees and report accurately to Human Resources Department as per company procedures
• Clearly and consistently communicate retail priorities and objectives to the regional/store management team through the regular meetings
• Assist in setting up new processes that will benefit and support the store team
• Motivate managers and sales team to achieve sales and profit results on a set basis
• Evaluate and assess performance of managers and sales team in line with Human Resources guidelines
• Develop a positive working relationship and maintain effective communication with the team
• Assist with the coaching, on-the-job training, and development of the team
