Business Analyst & Implementation Officer, PCM – Commercial Bank of Dubai
• Contribute to the achievement of Payments and Cash Management by gathering requirements on new products, testing and quality assurance and implementing and ensuring smooth operations of all products introduced by the Department.
1 Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve product monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer.
2 Understanding the needs of multiple stakeholders on products and facilitate the negotiation of requirements amongst multiple stakeholders.
3 Identifying and maintain the current- and future-state business processes and help business stakeholders envision the future and how their work will need to change to support the future
4 Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements and perform quality assurance while testing
5 Define reporting and alerting requirements related to testing and quality assurance
6 Own and develop relationship with partners, working with them to optimize and enhance our integration and help in designing, document and maintain system processes
7 Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to product team
8 Provide post launch feedback to plug any deficiencies in both existing as well as new products.
9 Recommend adequate product suggestions and feedback for Payments and Cash Management new product plans for the Bank to support the Banks maximisation of its short, medium and long-term profitability.
10 Assist Management to scan the external business environment and keep abreast of developments in the financial industry to identify business opportunities and to develop new products and enhance the features of existing products.
11 Provide feedback on products which require revitalising and gaps which need to be plugged by new offerings. Responsible for getting and tracking all clients post implementation review and feedback, sharing the same with PCM Product. Full database of such feedback to be with Implementation.
12 Ensure reporting requirements are complete of all products and all new modules testing are completed within set time and communicate key insights and findings to product team.
13 Contribute as a team member to the effective development and integration of all Payments and Cash Management Department activities.
14 Provide high quality, primary product support for all target clients and conduct timely client implementation handover to contact centre / responsible team. Conduct UAT following set test cases as relating to product. Complete the UAT logs and return to product for resolution – re test until all problems are eliminated.
15 Timely resolution of product/ implementation issues in coordination with IT and early escalation to senior management as appropriate. Proactively manage and track all clients PCM implementations and help PCM sales with demos of complex client solutions. Conduct detailed user training of the implemented solution at client sites.
16 Resolve client queries on implementations and take corrective action where there is a problem identified until that problem is resolved to the clients satisfaction by keeping the PCM Sales manager in the loop.
