BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – Dots Recruitment Consultants

The role
The Business Development Manager will report to the Operations Manager of LBS Contracting and Facilities Management. The BD Manager will manage business opportunities, identifying and developing relationships with prospective clients and maintaining existing client relationships leading to ongoing business. They will act as an ambassador for LBS through connections with clients, consultants and government authorities.
Main responsibilities will include:
• Developing objectives and strategy in support of overall corporate business development goals in construction and facilities management
• Identifying and calling on prospective clients to present the company and its capabilities
• Cultivating relationships with existing clients and consultants.
• Delivering high quality brochures and presentations to introduce LBS and its value proposition.
• Supervising development of pre-qualification proposals matching client goals.
• Ensuring client’s needs are being met prior to contract execution
• Maintaining accurate records of clients and project details
• Assist management with sales process and deal closing
• Conducting market research to identify and prioritise potential clients
• Keeping up to date with the market and potential projects
• Building network through, but not limited to, attendance and participation with various industry and professional groups and networking associations.
Candidate profile
Qualifications and experience
• Bachelor degree in related field – Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration
• 5-8 years experience in the construction sector in the region
