Business Development Manager
A start up firm with great potential for growth is seeking a Business Development Manager who is enthusiastic, career minded, has a strong work ethic and a commitment to teamwork. The position is responsible for planning and implementing sales and marketing strategy, both short and long range, targeted towards small and medium enterprise by performing the following duties personally:
• Researching market and targeting small and medium size enterprise to identify new leads and potential new markets
• Develops and implements strategic marketing plans and sales plans and forecasts to achieve the company’s objectives for services.
• Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
• Preparing presentations and sales displays
• Screens potential business deals by analyzing their business strategies, financials requirements; evaluating options and recommending the most suitable solution offered by the company
• Closes new business deals; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
• Follow up on opportunities and search for additional revenue opportunities
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
