Job Goal: To ensure efficient high quality support and administrative services to the programs and staff at the Academy in compliance with the policies of the Board of Trustees.
1- Planning strategically for all administrative aspects and support services at the Academy and ensure efficient and effective use of the available resources.
2- Supervising the HR Coordinator and ensuring the implementation of all HR policies and procedures such as advertising the vacancies, extending job offers, contracts, managing absences and leaves, updating the files, resignations and ending services.
3- Supervising the Registrar and following up on the process of registering students at the Academy. Review periodically the admission policy in cooperation with the Superintendent in compliance with the Ministry regulations.
4- Supervising the Procurement Coordinator and Store Keeper to ensure the implementation of the policies such as preparing purchase requests, sending requests for proposals, analysing the proposals/ quotations and choosing the appropriate vendors. The Business Manager is also expected to help the academic staff in finding and choosing academic resources and school furniture and in implementing the policies of inventory and assets management.
5- Supervising the ICT Coordinator and following up on the effectiveness of the ICT infrastructure.
6- Managing the safety and security policy and procedures at the Academy by ensuring the readiness for emergency situations. Supervising and evaluating the safety of all facilities (labs, cafeteria, playgrounds, parking areas) periodically. Ensuring the effective implementation of the Security procedures.
