Continuous Improvement Leader – Trans Business For Trading & Distribution

Purpose of the Job
The Continuous Improvement Leader is accountable for facilitating continuous improvements by focusing on and reducing biggest losses in all areas in terms of output, quality and waste. HE/SHE will work with the teams on a 24-hour basis on applying the appropriate TPM tools and methodologies to achieve these results. The Improvement Leader is not part of the routine operation and must ensure improvements are maintained by revision/training/changes in the manufacturing procedures/practices
Accountabilities
-Continuously monitor performance and benefits of approaches via Cost benchmarking, score cards, Loss Structures and TPM Self Assessment etc. and recommend appropriate remedial actions

-Development and implementation of a common framework for innovation projects into manufacturing via appropriate Early

-Management tools and techniques e.g. MP design activities

– Coach and train site teams in TPM tools and techniques

– Maintain up to date knowledge on TPM

Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor of Engineering
Min 3 years in continuous improvement role or manufacturing
TPM, Six sigma or lean manufacturing
