Credit Analyst – SME – RAKBANK

Job Purpose:

To manage the credit control and risk aspect of SME unit and proactively identify risk/irregularities to avoid losses, maintain superior control and meet the audit objectives of the unit.

•To assist RMs in putting up cases for renewal of facilities. cases pending information, documents, financials etc to be provided by the client to be put up for extension on a case-by-case basis and subject to approval.

•To accompany RMs on client calls for new acquisitions / renewal of facilities and draft LAs for finalization within the agreed stipulated timelines.

•To assist RMs in following up with customers for obtaining various documents (required for disbursement/ renewal of facilities / resolving document deficiency etc)

•Keeping updated information of client files so that they reflect the current status and are complete in all respects.

•Coordination with support staff for getting CPV checks done for new as well as renewal cases

•Monitor exposure/portfolio on a regular basis to ensure the portfolio is maintained within good standards

•To identify & provide upward feedback on potential risk areas and implement the proposed solutions.

•Identify clients with low utilization or over utilization and proactively initiate corrective measures

•Generate In-House MIS reports for better functioning of the unit and obtain relevant reports from Credit for utilization, Renewals, and Deferrals

•To ensure turnaround times are achieved at all times

•Assist RMs in the daily activities to help achieve their sales targets
