Document Controller – Prescott Real Estate Development

– A construction document controller must have exceptional organizational skills to be effective in executing the project LCI/DFO functions.
– Needs to have strong organizational skills to file and retrieve records for residential or commercial construction building permits, contract agreement, shop drawings and completion certificates.
– Construction document controllers should create and maintain a filing system that supports efficient information management.
– Generate various document control reports as required.
– Typing of site documents and follow up of all site needs.
– Make sure that controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings are given to the appropriate staffs, subcontractors and suppliers as applicable.
– Maintain updated records of all approved documents, drawings and their distribution clearly.
– Maintain the documents and drawings in the document control office under safe custody without any damage or deterioration with easy tractability.
– Maintain the files and the control logs as required by the project.
