e-commerce Marketplace Manager

• Supervise the smooth launch, running and optimization of the brand's marketplace store/shop in shop.
• Continually review marketplace sales targets and KPIs owning the sales budget and plan
o Internal (sales, stock, assortment, delivery, Customer service )
o External (Customer service, Finance, Delivery, Content)
• Work with e-commerce, commercial, customer service, finance, logistics teams to provide recommendations for marketplace optimization through assortment, promotions and marketing activity
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure full revenue potential is met and customer needs are being fulfilled
• Planning and implementing promotional activities, alongside the commercial team
• Develop a matrix or firm business unit that consist of a multi-functional team that delivers the significant sales growth planned
• Ensure the financial reconciliation with marketplace and finance teams
• Developing KPI reporting across multi functions such as logistics, CR and the marketplace
• Monitor day to day functions to ensure any issues are raises as soon as possible
• Constantly look to improve the operational processes and increasingly automate all movement of data for both marketplaces.
• Raise any efficiency issues with Management and look for improvements to processes
• To work closely with the data management team to ensure they supply all content and collateral required
• Work with the Marketplace andecommerce Trading team to ensure homepages, listings and promotions are optimised for engagement and for driving sales
• Work with the Marketplace providers to understand campaigns and deals to drive revenue and awareness
• Ensure the client remains compliant to Marketplace standards and requirements and that all operations remain within the laws of that territory
• Work with the Customer Service team to identify key pain points for Marketplace customers and work to resolve
• Keep up to date with trends/updates and changes to marketplaces
• Be responsible for ensuring all products are listed and optimised to the highest standards
• Increase listing rankings and search results to increase sales conversion and maximise revenue
• Evaluate traffic and sales conversion data to improve effectiveness of online content and maximise results
• Research and respond to competitor activity and pricing to protect and enhance current market share
• Understand the importance of search terms within the main product descriptions and have the ability to research and write effective search criteria
• Develop specific strategies for the clearance of any excess stock
