ERP Specialist – Petrochemical Conversion Company

Job Purpose: To provide support, development, and exploitation of the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (MS Dynamics AX 2012) in support of delivery of IT services for business operations.
Key Accountabilities:
Inspects IT&C facilities as directed and takes action to close findings.
Carry out self-audit activities as assigned to ensure compliance with internal procedures.
Assistance with the maintenance of the ERP aspects of the Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP).
Manage the detailed scheduling and staffing of ERP work using both internal and external resources.
Monitors the deployment of application patches and upgrades to the ERP system.
Ensure the proper segregation of duties (SOD) necessary to support annual attestations to the US-based partner.
Documents practices and procedures necessary to maintain the ERP system.
Reviews and validates monthly ERP vendor reports. Documents disputed hours and resolves with the ERP vendor.
Oversee the planning and execution of routine and preventive maintenance jobs on all ERP servers.
Monitor system capacity and grow as needed.
Provide technical leadership for ERP development whether reports, forms, workflows, and/or customizations.
Administer and maintain ERP systems
Confirm and test backups.
Maintain development, training, and testing environments.
Refresh environments as applicable.
Manage system security through creating roles, duties, and privileges as necessary.
Perform SOD analysis and rectify/mitigating findings on a regular basis.
Monitor account usage.
Plan and budget for license expansion.
Document/update relevant operating procedures in support of operations.
Provide Layer 2 and 3 technical support to IT&C department personnel as related to the ERP system.
Provide best practices guidance to company personnel as related to ERP exploitation.
Assist business personnel with documenting and/or developing business procedures/flows necessary to further exploit the ERP system.
Work with ERP vendors/contractors as directed.
Process helpdesk tickets and follow up based on escalations to ensure that tickets are closed/resolved within the SLA period.
Willing to work extra hours and over the weekends as and when required and directed.
