Company Brief:
Our client is a leading regional group in healthcare, dedicated to contribute to the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain & Oman markets by supplying high quality products and services to hospitals, clinics, laboratories & analytical industries. They are seeking to recruit a “Head of Medical & Nuclear Medicine” for their offices in Dubai, UAE. The “Head of Medical & Nuclear Medicine” will be directly reporting to the Chairman.
Job Requirements:
• Manage the sales of the Medical & Nuclear medicine products and services within UAE
• Ensure consistent and profitable growth in sales revenue through positive planning, managing of sales personnel
• Identify objectives, marketing strategies and action plan to improve short term and long term sales and earnings
• Collaborate with the management in establishing and recommending the most realistic sales goal for the company
• Achieve or exceed sales targets through managing an efficient and effective sales cycle and territory management; maintain sales base while closing new business in both new and existing accounts
• Prospect for new business opportunities on an ongoing basis
• Lead sales activities for major hospitals (Private and government) and negotiate prices and discounts in consultation with the team members as well as the management
• Responsible for obtaining profitable results through the sales team by developing the team through motivation, counselling, skills development and product knowledge development
• Open new accounts, and or increase the business volume with the existing customer
• Ensure that the right people are handling the allocated tasks, using the regional resources to fully develop the market and the organization
• Manage the sales administration function, operational performance reporting, streamlining processes and systems wherever possible and advise senior management on maximizing business relationships while creating an environment where customer service can flourish
• Responsible for managing the sales team, developing a business plan covering sales, revenue, and expense controls, meeting agreed targets and promoting the organization’s presence throughout the UAE
• Assist in the development of the annual marketing plan, specifically advising on: realistic forecasts for each product and territory (based on historical data, market trends, competitive activity, promotional strategy and sales effort), realistic costs of operating the sales force; and sales promotion program plans
• Coordinate with the marketing team of the Principal Companies represented in the Gulf and conducting marketing promotional activities including meetings, scientific services to build long-term relationship that reflects on the sales in a direct proportional relationship
• Collaborate with the management as well as the principal companies to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines
• Establish and control the marketing budget for sales promotion and trade shows expenses in collaboration with the units’ supervisors after agreeing on the marketing plan with the Executive Director
• Responsible for monitoring the performance of the sales team by establishing a system of reports and communications involving sales reports, cyclical sales meetings, sales newsletters and electronic bulletins
• Responsible for monitoring / approving purchases from the principal companies for the product lines of Medical & NM
• Plan and implement a specific appraisal system that describes the responsibilities and performance standards for each member of the sales team, set individual territory sales and commission targets and administer the commission plan
• Personally observe the performance of the Sales Team in the field on a regular basis
• Provide high standards of ongoing training for the Sales Team so that they possess sufficient medical and technical knowledge to present information of the company’s products in an accurate and balanced manner
• Manage and maximize the principal’s Local and overseas business
• Prepare and monitor monthly action plan by steering it toward AZM’s and principal’s stratagem
• Accurately forecast the annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams
• Involved in hiring, selecting candidates for the Division & responsible to appraise, manage the subordinates, supporting, problem solving and coaching along with the Supervisor
• Bachelor in Biomedical engineering or in the specialty
• Minimum 10 years of experience
• Candidate must take initiative, time efficient, proactive, people oriented, result driven & highly organized
