Heavy Equipment Sales Manager – PICO

Primary purpose of the job :
Verifying market coverage; developing estimates; writing sales and service orders; maintaining customer rapport and records. At this position the employee is responsible for mentoring and coaching sales staff performance & dealing with non performing gap; in order to accomplishing targets, also to increase benefits & market share; by developing an effective sales & marketing plan.

Principal Accountabilities
1. Maintaining fruitful relations with company suppliers through, achieving agreed budget by increasing market coverage & market share.
2. Determines annual unit and gross profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results.
3. Establishes department objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
4. Managing cost sheet with payment according customer request and/or tender requirements.
5. Implements department programs by developing department action plans.
6. Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
7. Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
8. Ensures maintaining customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of equipment; obtaining customer's approval of estimates; obtaining and providing contact telephone numbers; answering questions and concerns.
9. Managing records by recording problems and corrective actions planned.
10. Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading manufacturers' publications.
11. Collecting data about prices, technical data & stock for competitors.
12. Responsible for all product related activities.
13. Negotiate product details, prices and pay conditions with suppliers
14. Enhancing organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

– 100% Achievement of Department Budget & Revenue and profit
– Achievement of Sales & Marketing plan & budget.
– Achievement of Team objectives
– Percentage of fulfilled and unfulfilled orders.
