Heavy Lift Operations Manager – Almajdouie Holding

 Region Objectives

­ Ensures the targets set for the job holder region in terms of customer satisfaction, on-time performance, accident/claim frequency/severity, SLAs and utilization of resources are achieved or exceeded within the budget and on time.

 Project Management

­ Manages the project planning process and ensures that the project planning team has accurate understanding of the project assignment.

­ Monitors the progress of the project from planning to closing by tracking it against the schedule on all relevant parameters to be able to succeed in projects.

­ Ensures that job orders /waybills are collected and submitted for justification and invoicing purposes.

­ Ensure that civil works like road bypasses, etc… are prepared as per job standard requirements, while ensuring a very low cost on both LHL and the client.

­ Provide cost breakdown to BD team to ensure the right justified cost in connection to the anticipated LHL operational cost for the project.

­ Participate in setting up assembly or trailer configuration for the proper use of cargo depending on cargo situation and details in coordination with LHL Engineering.

 SHEQ

­ Ensures adherence to safety standards and coordinates with Quality Control and Safety functions.

 Customer Relation

­ Explains and coordinate with client to ensure safe and smooth operations from receiving until delivery at site.

­ Visit site and attend meetings with client on any technical clarification when and if required and ensures that reports of the team and response to client is prompt to avoid complains to be able to build and maintain good relation with clients and increase client satisfaction.

 Communication

­ Check and inform to top Management all factors which may disrupt the job as well as factors that may create financial impact to the projects to be able to manage the risk.

­ Advises LHL Engineering team for actual equipment availability for the desired trailer combination/configuration.

 Procurement

­ Involved in equipment selection acquisition and thereafter recommendation to top management and to concerned department to ensure that LHL will get the right equipment.

 Operations Monitoring

­ Monitors the cost of operations in the division to keep it within the sanctioned expenditure budgets for the division.

­ Maintains requisite quality and coordinates availability, maintenance and utilization of cargo/fleet for the job holder region.

­ Manages resources within the job holder region, to achieve optimal utilization.

­ Monitors Service Level Agreements with other SBUs to minimize cost and create added value for the customer.

 Maintenance

­ Ensures that processes / procedures are in place for the proper maintenance of assets to ensure (a) preventive maintenance is carried out regularly to reduce breakdown downtime and (b) break down maintenance of equipment / vehicles are carried out speedily.

 HR Management

­ Ensures that personnel in the job holder region are of adequate numbers and competency to meet the planned production schedules to improve work performance and increase productivity.

­ Plan and involved in approval/recommendation of LHL personnel for their vacation applications considering work requirements and work load and ensures that field personnel and staffs accommodation and welfare are in good condition.
