Human Resources Generalist – Al Mana

An exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Generalist level candidate has arisen within the Sports Division of Al Mana Fashion Group. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, you will work closely on day to day operations within the division alongside involvement on refining and developing current and new practices. Working across all countries within the GCC, the candidate must have had previous exposure and experience to the labour laws and a general understanding of the requirements around candidate onboarding. The successful candidate will also be involved with employee relations, implementing a new HRIS system, supporting the implementation of new policies and procedures across the division, maintaining employee files and records, payroll and other HR generalist duties.
Main responsibilities:
– Implement and contribute to the development of HR strategies for attracting, developing, motivating and retaining employees as set by Management and Human Resources Manager
– Plan, direct, and coordinate human resources activities to maximize the strategic use of human resources and manage operational HR functions in line with Group HR policies and procedures
– Assist in establishing and achieving HR Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the division and monitor their achievement on a periodic basis
– Assist in developing appropriate HR planning strategies, which consider immediate and long-term staff requirements in terms of numbers and skill levels
– Ensure provision of quality HR services to internal customers in a cost effective manner
– Manage efficient and consistent employee relations and escalate issues to Human Resources Manager as per set policies
– Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with division employees and departments to meet company objectives
– Coordinate and communicate with counterpart HR employees in other divisions as necessary in order to facilitate operations and maintain continuous HR development
– Provide appropriate recommendations in areas of employment, recruitment, compensation and benefits, talent management, training and organization development
– Be responsible for employee engagement and wellbeing and work to provide a supportive work environment
– Ensure staff requests are attended to and processed in a timely and accurate manner
– Liaise with the respective Country Managers/HR Coordinators/Government Relations employees in all countries of operation to ensure all HR related transactions and operations are performed and attended to on a timely manner
