Import Customer Service Agent – Maersk Line

• Handling import customers daily requirements/requests specially the non-segmented customers.
• Taking the responsibility/ownership for the end to end customer experience.
• Understanding customers business and needs through regular visits/communications to our customers.
• Answering/Attending incoming phone calls from Import customers.• Handling incoming e-mails/cases on Case Management (CRM) and ensure accomplishment within SLA.
• Arranging vessels recap for imports and prepare their manifests, further to translate the manifests for the Egyptian customs at all Egyptian ports.
• Handling assigned disputes.
• Following up longstanding containers via system regularly and Clearing full longstanding reports.
• Evaluating Demurrage discounts requests from the customers before assigning to CS Import Manager.
• Insure on time delivery and chasing delayed shipments at transshipment ports.
• Insure facilitating import customers job through different departments (Counters, Finance..)
• Processing refunds request.
• Having a good knowledge of Egyptian custom processes for Egyptian ports is a plus.
• Clearing import Outstanding Demurrage and short settlement.
