IT Business Analyst

Serve as the liaison between IT, the business clients and stakeholders to build collaborative partnerships. Translate business concepts and requirements into software solutions that will drive efficiencies and cost savings into the organization.

The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills. Have critical thinking and problem-solving proficiency as well as an understanding of the Financial industry with an emphasis on accounting and finance software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with software engineers to define and translate requirements into developed solutions and visual diagrams
• Assist with software development life-cycle (SDLC) activities
• Coordinate with business partner and IT to document thorough use cases and user stories
• Ability juggle multiple tasks at once and execute them in a timely manner
• Assists in communication of system changes to the broader organization
• Follows established procedures and recommend changes to improve process
• Design site maps and information architectures that detail the user experience
• Develop user journeys and story maps that outline the high-level user experience
• Assist with product demos to internal stakeholders, customers and potential clients
• Write technical reports and manuals for the benefit of end users
• Perform acceptance testing to ensure requirements are met
