Marketing Manager – Anotah – Green Wing Co
Develop and implement the necessary brand, customer and marketing strategies to meet company strategic and tactical objectives.
Manage the Marketing department to ensure best practice, high morale and the necessary marketing competency within the department.
Work Performed and Major Duties:
– Analyze and understand specific Company customer segments and use knowledge to develop and implement marketing initiatives.
– As a member of the senior management team, take a leadership role beyond marketing to assist the company achieve goals, i.e. recruiting, leading cross- functional teams for the company initiatives, etc.
– Determine the most appropriate marketing mix and channels to reach the target audience.
– Develop and implement a marketing plan to achieve company sales budget, revenues for both own brand stores and third party channel operators.
– Develop and implement the annual marketing plan using for example, advertising, media plans and local market programs.
– Develop and present the brand, customer and marketing strategies and activities to the MD and where necessary Board of Directors for review with associated direction setting and implement through the marketing plan.
– Ensure consistency in branding, imaging, customer communication and merchandising inside and outside the store.
– Ensure customer service standards are developed to meet brand and customer objectives across all channels. Work with Retail Operations to ensure that they are implemented.
– Lead the marketing team and to develop skills and capabilities to meet individual objectives.
– Manage and externally appointed marketing agency to effectively promote the Company Brand in the designated market place and to manage the relationship between the two companies.
– Manage and develop the brand concept through all aspects of the marketing mix to achieve Company Business and strategy objectives.
– Manage and direct the development and operation of the company B2B and B2C websites. Ensure the site is consistent with the brand position and own brand stores.
– Manage the Marketing team according to time and budget schedules.
– Manage the ongoing development of the store environment in relation to renew or improved current stores.
– Monitor competitive activity and develop the appropriate tactics to respond to varied threats or opportunities.
– Partner with Trading and Design to fully understand seasonal initiatives and translate them into Retail Marketing initiatives that drive sell through.
– Provide senior management informed of problems and opportunities relating to the customer, brand and marketing operational plan.
– Work with Business Development by providing knowledge and understanding of local markets to decide viability of new markets for expansion, both inside and outside the Middle East.
