Marketing & Press Relations Coordinator – Michael Page International (UAE) Limited

Working with an ambitious leadership team, the Operational Marketing & Coordinator is
responsible for overseeing the design and production of all marketing and promotional
tools as well as the PR activities in the GCC region.
Client Details
Leading International organisation with local offices in Qatar
Design and Editing of Marketing and Communications Collaterals
Track needs for sales and communications material for programs or events.
Produce or adapt content for marketing and communications tools in collaboration
with the marketing team and other departments under the supervision of the
Marketing Manager.
Liaise with external designers or agencies for the design and selection of promotional
items & communication tools.
Manage photo & video library; organize photo shoots and video production.
Manage promotional items stock and needs.
Press Relations
Coordinate PR activities with external agency; brief and challenge on action plans and
Liaise with other local departments for PR support and an awareness of activities with
a PR value.
Liaise with central marketing for regional communications.
Keep abreast of developments and recommend appropriate action.
Optimize internal communications, including monthly newsletter and communication
of official messages.
Coordinate promotional actions: identify opportunities, initiate, implement and follow
up under the Marketing Manager's supervision.
Drive initiatives to optimize and measure user experience; liaise with other
departments to optimize initiatives and feedback.
Contribute to the building and follow up of the marketing budget.
Support the development of reporting tools and KPIs..
Any other reasonable duties assigned by the supervisor.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience/qualification.
4+ years' experience in operational marketing including press relations, preferably in
the GCC region.
Experience in an executive environment or luxury brand.
Proficient editorial ability in English. Arabic an advantage.
Ability to judge visual and editorial quality and appropriateness of public content.
Strong numerical and analytical skills; rigorous and methodical.
Excellent interpersonal and intercultural skills, together with the ability to work
collaboratively with different stakeholders.
Ability to manage and challenge external suppliers.
Ability to anticipate problems and generate solutions quickly.
Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
Strong oral and written communications skills.
Proficient user of Microsoft Office .
Energetic, team-player, strong work ethic, takes initiative, an eye for detail and quality
