Officer, Communication IT – Al-Sayer Group

Responsibilities:
1. Assess and prepare for installation of telecommunication devices when requested, within existing and new locations.
2. Install and configure PBX systems, digital phone systems, cameras, wireless devices etc. at various locations of Al-Sayer Group.
3. Identify technical problems with communication devices whenever requested, through IT Service request and troubleshoot them.
4. Prepare and submit on a monthly basis the summary report on the number of fulfilled and pending communication requests.
5. Reconfigure, clean, repair fax machines, cameras, phone sets.
6. Setup a wireless device, digital phone sets, finger print installation.
7. Layout cables and tunes it out.
8. Crimp cables from various types (twisted pair, coaxial, preferred fiber)
9. Base configuration of the operations, PBX role and type and usage, cameras administration, finger print system access.
10. Carry out gathering the number of users, customers, the nature and the needs of the users.
11. Assist in identification and resolution of phone hardware, cables and configuration problems.
12. Assist in the assessment and preparation for installation of telecommunication devices: phones, including the assembly of cable and connectors, finger print, switches.
13. Provide technical services to IT staff by providing solutions to any technical issues such as anti-virus, password reset, network access, security, etc, in order to resolve end user technical issues.
14. Report to the direct supervisor any telecommunication issues.
