Organizational Development Specialist / Manager
Job Duties & Responsibilities
•Increase organization's effectiveness by promoting corporate culture and developing a more functional organizational structure.
•Ensures that the organization is appropriately designed to deliver organization objectives in the short and long term and that structural change is effectively managed and communicated.
•Develop OD programs to various work related processes for maintaining sound operating and strategic performance of all departments.
• Design and apply applicable OD interventions towards long-term operational efficiency, profitability and building a culture of work excellence for the entire company
• Analyze both existing and newly proposed organizational structures at routine and regular intervals
• Contribute to business re-engineering, including analysis of changes to the organization structure i.e. deletion of jobs/sections/divisions or merging jobs/ sections/ divisions, and linking the organization structure design with the organization's overall strategy while ensuring organizational efficiency and improving performance.
• Design jobs that support potential internal mobility opportunities for the employees and to ensure that business continuity is linked with employee satisfaction.
• Contribute to the process for the annual manpower planning exercise for all Divisions including the sending of pre-agreed formats, receipt of the information on timely basis, corresponding with relevant Divisions who have not furnished the information and compilation of the Manpower Plan by the stated deadline
• Participate in the collection, review and analysis of headcount and manpower data in order to identify new Human Capital requirements and redundancies at routine and regular internvals
• Contribute to the development of Policies and Procedures related to Organizational Design and Manpower Planning
• Review job roles and provide advice to departments on writing job descriptions to ensure clear understanding of duties and responsibilities.
• Ensures the implementation of an effective reward and recognition system that recognizes behaviors and skills that advance QM’s vision and links performance and reward
