Process Controller – Manpower Middle East

This is a contract role under Manpower Middle East – 12 months renewable contract
Basic Functions:
Maintain repair process (operational process) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a process controller function.
Review processes, seeks areas of improvement, prepare repair forecast data based on the production plan, develop business analytical and statistical data, and evaluate results.
Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the repair model to reflect updated assumptions of the business.
Interact with customer, customer program management team, repair shops, service providers, suppliers and finance to make sure that contribution is ensured in the process of the engine overhaul during the shop visit.
Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach to obtain data and accurate information and convert it in a meaningful format and share on regular basis which will show the KPI and CTQ and provide visibility as well as tracking to the entire stakeholders.
Use and maintain the ERP and MS Excel as the primary data system tool.
Provide input to the Supply Chain organization in developing strategies on repair items, repair/new products, service bulletin changes, final works copes, alternate (substitute) parts and product phase-outs.
Closely coordinate and communicate delays, urgencies, critical parts and process improvement areas with supply chain.
Job Functions:
Fulfilling on contract commitments including delivery of new & used spare parts as well as repair parts turn-around time during an engine overhaul.
Primary liaison between the Company’s storefront located in the MRO overhaul shop and Company’s Engine Services Spares, global Component Repair Vendors, and Used Material Vendors to manage material delivery and repair turn-around time in accordance with customer requirements.
Manage inbound and outbound shipments and coordination with service providers such as freight forwarders and customs brokers.
Create repair orders, purchase orders, shipping documentation and invoices in Company’s ERP system.
Create daily customer open/closed order reports that demonstrate the performance results of the repair shop, storefront and service providers.
Manage vendor and customer financials; make sure that payment for the service provider, suppliers and repair shops are triggered.
Ensure consistent local logistics services to deliver contractual commitments to customers.
Be familiar with and enforce compliance with all financial, customs and transportation processes and policies.
Ownership of the unserviceable repair parts, scrap parts that will be used during engine overhaul and ensuring turn around commitments are met as defined by the business.
In coordination with the Material Demand Planner, ensure availability of both new/used and repair material for the required maintenance at all times including rotable and exchange units.
In coordination with the Material Demand Planner, analysis of data gathered for material requirements, plan and ensure material availability for the required maintenance as per the production planning.
Ensure to assign correct priorities for the repair and procurement of materials against shortages.
Ensure that all repair orders are expedited to meet required delivery dates. In case of critical/urgent orders, delivery schedules are closely monitored and coordinated with source and forwarders to ensure items are received on time.
Maintain daily status trackers/open order report that helps to determine priority materials for engine.
Regularly meeting with customer to update them on the status of open orders, exceptions, approvals and critical item management.
Working closely with the Material Demand Planner on day to day basis, provide coaching, supporting his/her orientation programs, sharing experience and providing support including coverage in the case of absence.
Planning and alignment for future capacity requirements and production planning by working closely with the customer team and storefront team as well as customer.
Producing regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
Key Results:
A customer demand forecast which incorporates current and accurate information that allows the company to correctly predict customer demand and provide its supply chain with the appropriate information to plan how to meet that customer demand.
Improved relationships among repair shops, customer program team, and finance, customer which will lead to effective knowledge sharing and an optimal consensus supply chain performance to better guide the company.
Refined systems and methods to continually improve repair process and put agile processes in place so that the company can better anticipate customer needs and ensure satisfaction.
Execute with excellence in the area of customer replenishment and feedback to the Supply Chain groups the opportunities and risks regarding customer replenishment performance metrics.
