QA/QC Manager

Purpose of the Job:
Responsible for Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities of the project.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Who shall be responsible for overseeing the implementation and operation of the Project Quality Plan at all levels.
Ensure that contractually specified quality and regulatory/certification requirements are achieved
Plans and directs activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for processes, materials, and products: Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation, utilizing knowledge in engineering fields
Plan and track quality control objectives, timelines, priorities, and resources.
Review and verify test protocols, test plans, quality control plans and project data
Focus on continuous improvement in all aspects of production work flow based on findings and process observations. He must attempt to improve the standard of the existing process, using information collected from the Operations & Maintenance and Best Practices in problem-solving techniques
Responsible for the overall QA audit programme for all phases of the project both internally and externally
He shall be responsible for supervision of the construction quality control management activities and ensuring compliance with the Inspection and Test Plans and associated specification and contract documentation Identify, analyze and resolve problems and issues with quality assurance and control
Assist in ensuring all procedures conforms to Health & Safety Regulations, Company Policy Procedures, and Statutory requirements
Must be able to deal with a wide range of complex problems as related to project QMS and decides on technical & operational solutions.
Assists the Project Manager for implementation and monitoring of the QMS System as per the Integrated Management System
Review engineering deliverables with regards to Quality / Inspection & Testing input (Specifications, Datasheets, Material Requisitions, and Material Approval Requests etc.).
Maintain good communication and coordination with the client Quality team and attend Quality Meetings related to the project
Monitor and report QMS Performance, Identify and document non-conformances and ensure that corrective actions are carried out promptly and effectively
Ensure close-out of Inspection / Audit recommendations
Provide orientation training for the key project personnel on Project QMS
Maintain all Quality training records during the project period
Report to the Project Manager and to Petroserv SHEQ Division Manager and to Client Quality Representative
