Will work with the doctors and the management team in the NCD programme to ensure an
effective internal process for referrals is developed and maintained
Will ensure that referrals are prioritised and reviewed appropriately to enable those who
have urgent needs to be seen first
Will liaise with external agencies or stakeholders including MoH who provide referral options to enable appointments to be arranged for NCD Irbid patients.
Will contact patients and make appropriate arrangements to enable patients to get to
appointments especially when these are not in Irbid.
Ensure collection of necessary feedback from the referral actor and relay to the Irbid medical team.
Lobby with other actors where needed to ensure proper follow up of the referred cases.
Identify medical referral options for the Irbid project, regularly update a mapping of the available services and where needed consult with supervisor to have institutional discussions and agreements.
Ensure that all patients identified for the referrals understand the process, limitations of MSF including management of patients’ expectations.
Will collaborate with the flexible doctor and the MAM to ensure that all aspects of the NCD programme provide good care through involvement with Quality Improvement activities, and through audits
As part of the work on Quality improvement will share responsibility for ensuring or personally doing Exit surveys to feedback into the improvement of the project.
Assisting Pharmacist in preparing prescriptions, doing monthly medication counts and assisting in managing consumption.
