Restaurant Manager – Lebanese Concept – Kout Food Group

Your job is to maintain Kout/brand standard of guest service experience, by providing excellent customer service, through developing my people, inspiring, training, recognizing and motivating them to achieve and exceed sales and profit targets. I ensure my team comply with all SOPs, food safety standards and achieve maximum cost efficiencies.

You will spend:-

I spend:

60% of your time managing the operational activities in Planning and Organizing shifts, Controlling and auditing all areas, compliance in food safety and ensuring Customer Satisfaction

20% of your time in people development, communication of action plans and data analysis (i.e. Sales, GC, SPH and menu product mix)

20% of your time doing administrative tasks (i.e. opening/closing procedures, government regulations and licensing…)

You know you’ve done a great job if:

• You effectively delegate responsibilities to shift leaders and staff, to ensure objectives are met and excellent service is consistently achieved.

• You manage the restaurant in the absence of the Restaurant Manager

• You manage operations with passion, integrity, and knowledge while promoting the culture and values of Kout Food Group.

• You implement new company policies and procedures by developing plans and coaching staff

• You provide direction to shift managers, and staff to achieve restaurant goals

• You consistently review staff performance and productivity to identify potential challenges, concerns, and opportunities for improvement.

• You create a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of service, through exceeding customer expectations.

• You manage the restaurant to meet or exceed standards in food quality, safety, and cleanliness.

• You consistently monitor operating costs to remain within budget.

• You train and coach staff on guest services principles and practices.

• You follow and communicate Kout/brand standard operating procedures.

• You develop and implement creative solutions to all areas requiring improvement.

• You assist in conducting staff and daily pre-shift meetings.

• You identify employee’s potential challenges and develop as necessary.

• You ensure that all company assets, cash, stock, property and goods are secure.

• You ensure that all controllable costs, including wastage, are kept to a minimum whilst actively seeking new ways to improve the profitability of the restaurant.

• You participate in handling customer complains, to ensure customer satisfaction.

• You engage team members with the objective of creating a positive working environment.

• You ensure preventive maintenance schedules are adhered to and all equipment’s and tools are properly maintained.

• You provide support in resolving TM’s issues.
