Sales Manager – American Mattress

• Strives to achieve forecasted sales by following (and, if necessary, adjusting) written plan of action
• Establishes a sales objective for the department each month and submit it to
the Chairman / General Manager
• Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
• Maintains inventory control, logistics, delivery and displays.
• Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines
• Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes and
ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the Team.
• Supervise the sales floor to see that the sales floor operations functions smoothly.
• Maintains dealership standards. The Sales Manager will see to it that all the
standards set for the Sales Department are met which includes sales person attendance tracking, professional appearance and behavior.
• Handles all customer complaints customer related to sales department in
co-ordination with the Marketing and Business Development department.
• Maintains a self development program constantly striving towards continuing
professional growth and working to improve sales skills, managerial skills,
business skills and product knowledge.
