Sales Operations Manager – Halwani Bros Co.

– Drive ex-distributor sales volume growth and achievement of distribution targets by developing appropriate channel strategy in conjunction with NSMs to achieve volume. Revenue and profitability targets across local channels.

Collate and analyse data from trade marketing reports, research, retail audits and customer/account sales in order to identify market, channel, outlet type and account priorities, weakness and opportunities order to provide recommendations and solutions to further enhance trade marketing performance.

Play key role in demand forecast cycle by developing standardised process including communication format, submission timing and revision/rectification actions geared to achieve agreed targets.

Communicate frequently / timely targets, activities by channel and region to sales, marketing, finance and supply planning through meetings, emails and verbal communication to ensure all relevant departments are clearly informed and follow up achievement vs. targets on daily basis and recommends rectification actions when necessary.

In conjunction with NSMs, Marketing and Finance develop pricing strategy per SKU, per channel by continuous updates to supply cost and competition/market price changes to ensure sustainability of USCE competitive pricing positioning all the time.

In conjunction with brand management, develop, implement and evaluate both trade and consumer promotions for the priority trade channels in order to maximise the return on investment and ensure adequate levels of trade and consumer participation so meeting the company’s market, brand and volume and profit objectives

In line with brand strategy, Manage the development, production and installation of in-store advertising materials in order to maximise the awareness, standing and imagery of strategic brands in the priority trade channels within budget and on time.

In conjunction with NSMs and IT department, develop all required report formats, business object adaptation and communication timing / flow by ensuring format / ERP are addressing agreed KPI’s to maximize data utilization and support decision making process.

In conjunction with IT department and distributor management, set IT requirements at distributor level by establishing standard IT infrastructure requirements including tools, specs and ERP system to ensure data processing and flow is smoothly operating, accessible and user friendly.

Develop sales manual in conjunction with relevant sales department heads with sole responsibility of developing activity proposal process including format, required approvals, budget control and proof of performance.

Train distributor accountants on ERP system, sales reports reading and necessary control means by aligning with finance and IT on required material to ensure Halwani language and standards are applied at distributor levels.

In conjunction with NSMs, develop sales incentive schemes geared to achieve agreed KPI’s

Post Evaluation to trade schemes and take necessary action to rectify situation or improvement when needed.

Leads order processing cycle, by developing sales order procedures to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained at distributor and customer level.

Leads, develops & appraises his team by carrying out coaching & performance appraisals on a regular basis to ensure all team members are effective in their job roles
