Sales & Tendering Manager
Direct and manage estimating & tendering activities of all MEP projects.
Manage, supervise and review the preparation and presentation of proposals, tenders & estimates. Responsible for distribution executing conceptual estimating, cost analysis and estimate coordination and consolidation, proposals / tenders preparation and submittals.
TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES:
– Prepares Tender Appraisal analysis and Bid evaluation and analysis
– Researching and gathering all the relevant details about the new projects in the market and track all requests and follow with successful Main Contractors.
– Analyze quotations commercial and technical, prepare detailed cost comparison and conduct meetings and negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors
– Conduct market intelligence to support Management decision in Bid / No Bid.
– Perform and prepare risk analysis and models.
– Conduct market services to stand on the market volume with establishing the company’s market share against competitors.
– Verify and study the competitor’s profile.
– Prepare the SWAT analysis of the company.
– Build and establish good connections with consulting offices, contractors, real stat and investment houses.
– Prepare/assist in preparation of proposal cash flows and working capital analysis.
– Assist in the preparation of Project Profitability Summary.
– Ensure lessons learned are incorporated appropriately into the estimates.
– Review modification of standard estimating templates.
– Develop new techniques as required to meet specific needs
– Participate in and contributes to Value Engineering studies.
– Manage proposal / tender strategies with joint venture partners as applicable.
